Also known as a Cardiovascular Disease Risk Reduction Visit

Who Is Covered

All Medicare beneficiaries:

   • Who are competent and alert at the time counseling is provided; and

   • Whose counseling is furnished by a qualified primary care physician or other primary care practitioner and in a primary care setting

Note: During this visit, your doctor may discuss aspirin use (if appropriate), check your blood pressure, and give you tips to make sure you're eating well.
